Abstract: In September 2010, China issued the People's Republic of China national standard GB25225.5-2010(safety requirements of industrial washing machinery - Part 5: ironing machine, feeder and folding machine), the national standard will be implemented in July 1, 2011, the standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO10472-: 1997. This marks the safety requirements of the folding machine in China, and began to meet the international standards for safety.

      (1) Definition of folding machine

      A machine that automatically folds flat materials or towels, pillow covers and similar materials, usually in connection with an ironing machine. As far as the folding machine used at home and abroad is concerned, it is mainly used for automatic folding of dried or ironed sheets, tablecloths and other flat fabrics, or automatic folding of dried towels, bath towels, pillow towels and so on.

      Widely used in hotels, restaurants, hospital hostels, troops, schools, textile, washing factory, dyeing factory, printing and dyeing, silk, clothing, railway and aviation laundry factory and other industries and fields of automatic folding machine is suitable for sheets, quilt covers, tablecloths, blankets and other fabrics folding.
